The small pueblo of Mineral de Pozos, located just a short drive from San Miguel de Allende, makes for a wonderful day trip. Although it’s a cool little pueblo, it’s really known for the ruins of the old gold and silver mines around town, and the wonderful haciendas that used to go along with them.
